This is a music poster which has been used to advertise the unsigned band "slow club" and several other music bands who were playing alongside them. The variation of different colours and informality is similar to the impression I want to create. The poster has been created to look asthough it's been painted and pulled together through by using different scraps of paper and colours.

Here is a digi pack front cover by laura Marling the colours are quiet bland and simple to link to the idea of nature and growth which I presume links to the theme in the song. The name of the song is convetionally identified first and then the name of the artist after, this is used to draw attention specifically to the name of the song. The writting is playful and curly to create a femininty of the artist as she is a young female acoustic singer. The simplistic nature of the cover could portray the spontanous, simplisity of her lyrics and music. Also the use of colours and the way the white feathered colour has been added creates an old vintage feel to perhaps reflect her music style.

Here is a poster which was created for Laura Marling for her first cd release. The curly writting is the same as was use for the digi pack which is conventional and makes the artist easily recognisable to her audiences to create a sense of familarity. Her use of imagery is again very nature inspired and obviously has reasoning and meaning behind it. The idea of nature and mankind can be identified and the use of colours are nature inspired and simple. As the artist is trying to promote herself this is firstly identified then the name of the songs which are most familiar to her audiences.
This is a poster which has been used to promote Jose Vanders performances in the past. The use of imagery is very simplistic but creative. I like the simplistic idea of using animated mirrors as it gives an impression of the artist as being informal and the idea of the poster trying to reflect what she is about. The poster however hasn't followed conventions as the producer has used a variation of different fonts.
