Final Idea For Digi Pack

The reason I have chosen this design for the final design idea for my digi-pack is because the images reinforce the young target audience in which my digipack is targets. My designs target a young auidence because the youthful childlike images are intended to make an audience member feel connected with the images as it reminds them of their childhood. I want the toys in the first image to be conventional child toys such as a train running along a track to give a sense of history and traditional child's toys. I intend for the image of the young boy to be taken with a camera and then the small toys to be drawn and then scanned in and the pictures be put together. I want the writting either be hand written or if it's done on a computer then I want the font to look asthough it is hand written to create the a casual infomal effect to target my young audience. The coloured writting of "peter pan" I intend to create on the computer but create the effect as though it's been written with a wax crayon to create a childlike effect. The spine of the digipack will have the name of the artist and the song written in a scribbled crayon. The back of the digipack will be a scribbled, rough handdrawn image to reinforce the idea of the informal effect which i want to create throughout the whole of my digipack. The information content on the back will consist of three songs one being the song title original and the other being remix versions this reason for this is because it fills up the information content so it looks more professional. There will be a small barcode at the bottom with a small price underneath to follow the conventions of orginal digipacks. In the corner of the digipack will be small writting with the artist myspace site this is for my audience to connect with the artist and find out more information on her unsigned music. The background colour for the whole of my digipack will be a wish-washy cream as this colour is neutral and allows any other colour to bed added to the digipack. There will also be a small sketched animated drawing on the back of the digipack this is because it ties in with the intention of the rest of my images and the rough sketch creates a youthful feel for my young audience.
