Peter Pan lyrics

After Jose had agreed It’s ok for me to use her music I listened to the song several times to trigger ideas I then wrote out the lyrics to the song and analysed a key words and phrases which I felt triggered a few ideas for my music video. Most of the words which have been highlighted run as follows ‘Game, Teach, Sing, and Fly’ these words made me feel that the songs purpose is to teach to help someone to learn. Originally the ideas of a child perhaps wanting to live their dream or become a make believe character or perhaps have an invisible friend for guidance and support. The story of peter pan being a make believe character then triggered the idea of puppetry to be used in the video as the song includes words such as ‘Thread, sewing kits, thimbleful of cotton thread’. The main purpose and emphasis on the video which is a theme I would like running throughout is to inspire an individual to believe in themselves and the idea of inventing their own magical world.
