Research Into Other Artists And Digi Packs

I have researched into other digi-packs which have been designed for Jose Vanders. The design ideas for her digi-packs are original and well thought out and her unique ideas can be identified. The reason I have carried out research into other digi-packs is because it's allowed me to grasp an idea of how I want my digi-pack design to look. I have scanned in the images of two analysed digi-pack designs and i've also scanned in the digi-packs. I have also analysed and have done a brainstorm for the Jose Vander's digi packs covers and have written about the artists genre, representation, institutions, audience, codes and conventions.

I have analysed this digi-pack because I thought the design was simple but unique. I have spoke about the target audience, codes and conventions, genre, institutions and representations. The reason I have done this is because it allowed for me to think about the kind of impression my artist wants to create and how she is going to achieve this. By analysing the digi-pack in detail it has allowed me to think more widely about my target audience, when designing my digi-pack.

I have also analysed another digi-pack of Jose Vanders because it allowed for me to get a wider overview of the designs which my artist has already created. I have also analysed this digi-pack in detail to think about why the designer has chosen these ideas and what idea they are trying to portray of the artist. To demonstrate my research I have scanned in images of the actual digi-packs below and will analyse them in to identify there target audience.
The reason I have analysed this digi-pack is because I thought that the designs were simple but unique to the artist which is the image I want to create for my audience.

Here is the inside of the digipack created by Jose Vanders it is similar to the inside of the digi pack I intend to create. The animated objects and shapes create give the idea of a memory wall or spontaneity of a trail of thought. The animation reinforces the idea of spontaneity of the artist. She has created a design which is made up of a collarge of different images and items to create a display of different images which are seen as important or represent the artist. The colours are quite natural but are combined with both bright and wish-washy colours to create a feeling of history and age.

Here is a second digi-pack which has been created by Jose Vanders this a very simple design but had been created to give the feeling of a very basic animated design. The delicate simple animations portray the artists simple, low-key nature. The information of the artists songs which are avaliable on the cd are inset on the inside and there is an information side which give thanks to the people who were involvded in the making of video. There are simple animations on the inside which have been used to create a cute positive feel. The way the cd cover doesn't use any colour creates an orginality and simplistic nature of the artist.
